Warzone players are all too familiar with error codes that appear when using certain equipment in the game such as the dev error 5573. The Warzone Pacific Dev Error 896 is also among the error that occurs when you interact with a specific weapon – the MK11 Launcher. Some users have also reported the error to occur with any other launcher in the game. The error specifically occurs when you view or attempt to customize the Vanguard launchers in Warzone.
Warzone Pacific has been a mess ever since its launch, the game is basically unplayable for users on PS4. For about two weeks since launch, both Xbox and PS5 users had issues of their own that made the game unplayable. PC users have been the luckiest in this update with no major issues. Let’s have a look at the Warzone Dev Error 896.
Warzone Pacific Dev Error 896 Fix
Unlike the Warzone Dev Error 6039 that’s plagued the PS4 community even since the launch of the Pacific update, the 869 is quite easy to avoid. As talked about earlier, it seems to mostly occur when you attempt to customize any launcher in the game through the loadout selection screen.
Until the devs look into the launchers and fix the warzone launcher glitch, you just need to avoid editing the launchers to avoid the errors. There is nothing else you can do besides the avoiding editing these weapons.
The game currently has four launchers that you need to avoid at the loadout selecting screen, namely MK11 Launcher, M1 Bazooka, Panzerfaust, and Panzerschreck.
The glitch only affects when you try to equip the camo so you should have no issues using the weapon in the game. Sure, the gun will look better with the camos, but at least you can avoid the bug altogether by skipping editing camo for the weapons.
In other news, the Warzone Buy station glitch is crashing the game for many and Apex Legends may get region lock to improve the performance of servers.
