– Then go to file and click on “Save as” and then set the location on “Desktop”
– Name this file as Wufix.bat and select “Save as type” as “All files” and then click on “Save”
– Next, go to the desktop and right-click on this new file Wufix.bat and click on “Run as administrator”
– Click on “Yes” to allow
– Now the scan will start, and it may take some time. Wait until it’s done. The command window will be closed automatically and you will be able to install the update KB5026372 on your system.
3. Resetting Windows Update Service
If the issue persists, try resetting the Windows update service to fix this problem. The steps are very easy and quick.
– Go to the Services menu >> Right-click on Windows Update >> Properties
– In the next Window, set the Start type as ‘Automatic’ and Service Status as ‘Running’ option and then save the changes
– Once done, try updating KB5026372 and you will be able to install it on your Win 11
4. Use Microsoft Update Catalog
The next method we suggest is to use the Microsoft update catalog. For this, open up the below link in your browser – https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Home.aspx.

5. Use Media Creation Tool
