Fortnite is one of the widely played battle royale games developed by Epic Games. It was released back in 2017. Its new Chapter 4 Season 1 is out now and it features some of the great notable upgrades. This new chapter arrived this December itself. Although Chapter 4 Season 1 features a few new contents to explore, it has some bugs and glitches. Lately, some players notice that the Sprint has stopped working throughout their matches. It happens due to a bug and you can try a workaround to fix it. Let’s learn in this guide how you can fix the Sprint not working issue in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1.
Fixing Sprint Not Working Issue in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1
Since many players are currently reporting on the same issue, Epic Games will surely release a patch fixing this problem but meanwhile, there is a potential method you can try to resolve the matter.
– Go to the Settings under the Main Menu
– If you are using Mouse and Keyboard, go to the Keyboard Controls section and make sure you have assigned a keybind for Sprint correctly. Once it is assigned, hit on the Apply button and save the settings.
– If you are using Controller, go to the Controller Settings and check Edit Controls. Make sure you have assigned controls to the sprint. If you have not set it, click on the Sprint/Auto Sprint option and assign it again to the preferred button. Once done, make sure to hit on the ‘Apply’ button.
If that doesn’t work, worry not as devs are already aware of this issue and they are working hard to resolve it. They say “We will provide an update when it is resolved”. They also advised players to leave the match and start a new one.
Hopefully, one of these steps should resolve the sprinting not working issue in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1.
