Well, if you are encountering this bug on your PC, then try loading uncorrupted save game files from the folder where the game is installed on your computer.

These backup files will be like bak1, bak2, and bak3. The recent backup files will be named “bak1”. You simply need to rename this file with the ‘.sav’ extension and it will help to restore your character’s traits.

Another way to resolve this problem is to use a cheat engine which is NOT recommended. However, some players suggest using a cheat engine and it will help to restore your trait points back to normal. But you will have to be very careful to use a cheat engine as it may corrupt your save data or it can also lead to a ban by the devs.
