Fix Outriders UE4-Madness Crash
Outriders is developed using the Unreal Engine 4 and the when the game crashes with this error, it’s usually due to outdated graphics card drivers or overclocking. If you have not updated the system’s GPU driver in a while, do it now. NVidia released a new Game Ready Driver yesterday, ensure that you have installed the driver.
If you are using hardware acceleration software like MSI Afterburner, or even the acceleration provided by Discord or other software, it can lead to a crash. As such, we suggest that you launch the game in a clean boot environment. If you don’t want to go through the process, just open the task manager and close everything that could be interfering with the game, even GeForce Experience. Once you have done that, attempt to launch the game, and the Outriders UE4-Madness crash should not occur.
We have personally encountered this error while playing the Demo and it occurs when the GPU is overheated after playing the game for long hours. So, ensure that the computer has proper cooling and ventilation. Often, that’s enough to resolve the UE4 Madness crash.
