How to Fix PUBG Network Error and Login Failed

If you’re getting this issue in your PUBG Mobile then don’t worry, we have some solutions to fix this issue. Follow the below methods to solve this error.

Change Your Device Region

Changing the device region on your Android phone can be a useful technique to circumvent ISP restrictions. By modifying the region, you trick the ISP into unblocking services that may be prohibited in your current location. Here’s how you can do it:

  • Go to your device settings and navigate to additional settings.
  • Find the “Region” option and select a different region, such as Indonesia, Nepal, or any other location of your choice.

Keep in mind that changing the region might not always work, as PUBG Mobile’s developers continuously update their systems to prevent misuse of this workaround. However, it is worth trying, and many players have reported success with this method.

Using Cloudflare DNS

DNS (Domain Name System) plays a crucial role in connecting your device to the internet. Sometimes, ISPs block specific services through their DNS, leading to network errors in games like PUBG Mobile. Utilizing Cloudflare DNS can help you bypass such restrictions. Follow these steps to set up Cloudflare DNS:

  • Install the 1.1.1.1 Cloudflare app from the Google Play Store.
  • Open the app and enable the toggle. You might receive a VPN warning prompt, but don’t worry, and click “Allow.”
  • Keep the app running in the background while you play the game.

By using Cloudflare DNS, you are rerouting your internet connection through their servers, which can sometimes help bypass the network errors in PUBG Mobile.

Using Google DNS

Another effective method to resolve network issues in PUBG Mobile is by using Google DNS. Similar to Cloudflare DNS, this involves changing the DNS settings on your WiFi router. Follow these steps to set up Google DNS:

  • Access your WiFi router’s configuration page. The default IP address is usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1.
  • Navigate to the DHCP settings and change the DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, which are the official Google DNS configurations.

The process might vary slightly depending on your router model, so it’s recommended to check the router’s manual or search online for specific instructions.

Changing Your Network

If the above methods do not resolve the network error or login failed issue, consider changing your network altogether. This might involve using a different WiFi network or switching to mobile data if you were previously connected via WiFi. Network instability can often lead to connection problems in online games like PUBG Mobile, so trying a different network can be a simple yet effective solution.

Clear App Cache and Data

Sometimes, network errors in PUBG Mobile can be caused by corrupted or outdated data. Clearing the app cache and data can help resolve these issues. Here’s how you can do it:

  • Go to your device’s settings and find the “Apps” or “Application Manager” section.
  • Locate PUBG Mobile from the list of installed apps and tap on it.
  • Click on “Storage” or “Storage Usage” and then select “Clear Cache” and “Clear Data.”

Please note that clearing app data will reset the game settings and preferences, so make sure to back up any important data before performing this step.

Disable VPN and Proxy Services

Using VPN (Virtual Private Network) or proxy services can sometimes interfere with PUBG Mobile’s connection to the game servers, leading to login failures and network errors. Temporarily disable any VPN or proxy services on your device and try launching the game again.

Check for Game Updates

PUBG Mobile developers regularly release updates to improve game performance and fix bugs. Ensure that you have the latest version of the game installed on your device. Outdated versions might encounter compatibility issues, resulting in network errors and login failures.

Reset Network Settings

If you’re experiencing persistent network issues in PUBG Mobile, resetting your network settings can help. This action will restore your device’s network configurations to default. To perform a network reset:

  • Go to your device settings and navigate to “System” or “General Management” (depending on your device).
  • Look for “Reset” or “Reset Network Settings.”
  • Confirm the action, and your device will reset the network settings.

After the reset, reconnect to your WiFi or mobile data network and try launching PUBG Mobile again.
