When such a crash happens, check out the game’s Twitter handle and Subreddit to verify if others are having the same issue. In case, there is a bug in the game causing the Madden 22 crashing, there is nothing you can do but wait for a patch from the developers.
Restart the game
Once you are sure it’s not a bug with the game, it’s possible that the problem is caused by a simple glitch that can be resolved by rebooting the system. Perform a system restart after closing the game and check if the Madden 22 stuck on loading screen or the crash still happens.
Switch to DirectX 12
Some users were able to resolve the crashing problem in the game by moving between the two DirectX options available. By default, the game starts in DirectX 11, but it has the option for players to switch to DirectX 12. Try to switch to the new DirectX and that may fix the problem. You will find the option to change in the Graphics Settings of the game.
Start the game without the controllers connected
Sometimes the controller has issues with games. We have seen it happen in previous Madden titles and a number of other games. Unplugging the game and then starting the game fixes the crash at startup or won’t launch issue. Once the game has started, you can connect the controller to play the game without any issue.
