Solutions for Server Connection Error
To fix the Hyper Scape “Server Connection Error,” you must first ensure, your network connection is working desirably. If the problem is not with your connection, reset the network device to fix the error. To reset, turn off the router/modem, dislodge the power cords, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, reconnect the power cords, and start the device normally.
If the error still persists, try changing your Domain Name Servers to Google DNS – Primary 8.8.8.8 and Secondary 8.8.4.4. Here are the steps for Xbox and PC.
For Xbox One
- On the controller, press the Guide button
- Select All Settings > Network > Network settings > Advanced settings > DNS Settings > Manual
- Input the Google DNS addresses 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 in both the primary and secondary fields and restart the console.
For Windows 10 Users
- Press Windows Key + I to open the Windows Settings
- Select Network & Internet
- Click on Change adapter options
- Select the network and right-click > Properties
- Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties
- Toggle Use the following DNS server addresses and fill the Google DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
- Click Ok.
