Fix Hyper Scape Error Code Saffron-205

Hyper Scape is an incredible game – all its modes. It has the potential to become one of the best games this year, but like all online games, there are some errors that users encounter, but thankfully the problems are not widespread. Much like the Saffron-209 error, the Hyper Scape error code Saffron-205 errors also occurs when the anti-cheat software has a compatibility problem with other third-party applications or the Windows Firewall is blocking some DLLs off the anti-cheat. The fix for Saffron-205 is pretty straightforward, disable all third-party application and provide exception on the antivirus software.

Additionally, you would also want to make sure the game and launcher is running with admin permission.

How to Fix Hyper Scape Error Code Saffron-205

The first fix you must try to fix the issue is restarting your network hardware and system. To do so power down the device and unplug all power sources. Allow the device to rest for 30 seconds and restart normally. If this does not work then terminating all background applications. This would prevent applications from causing an error with BattlEye and hence, resolve the error. Here are the steps you can follow.

1. Press Windows Key + R and type msconfig, hit Enter
2. In General tab, uncheck Load startup items
3. Go to the Services tab
4. Check Hide all Microsoft services
5. Now, click Disable all
6. Click on Apply and OK.

Now try launching the game and check if the Hyper Scape error code Saffron-205 still occurs. This fix should suffice to resolve the issue. But, if it doesn’t try the next fix which is to provide exception to the game folders.

To make the process more easier, we suggest you disable the antivirus and firewall for just a few minutes, then reinstall the game. Having the security software turned off, try playing the game and the error should not arise. Once you know the cause of the problem you need to set exception for the game because your system in under risk with antivirus disabled.

Here are the steps to set exception on Windows Firewall for Hyper Scape.

1. Press Windows Key + I and select Update & Security
2. Click on Windows Security > Firewall & network protection
3. Click on Allow an app through firewall
4. Click on Change settings and locate hyperscape. Ensure both the public and private fields are checked as shown in below image.

If you do not see Hyper Scape in the list of programs, click on Allow another app… after clicking Change settings. Browse the folder where the Hyper Scape executable is located and set an exception.  

Here are the steps to set exception on Windows Firewall for Hyper Scape.

1. Press Windows Key + I and select Update & Security
2. Click on Windows Security > Firewall & network protection
3. Click on Allow an app through firewall
4. Click on Change settings and locate hyperscape. Ensure both the public and private fields are checked as shown in below image.

If you do not see Hyper Scape in the list of programs, click on Allow another app… after clicking Change settings. Browse the folder where the Hyper Scape executable is located and set exception.

If the above steps fail, ensure that your proxy settings are set correctly.

If you have enabled the proxy server on your LAN settings, it could also cause the Hyper Scape Error Code Saffron-205, to fix the issue disable it. Here are the steps.

1. In the Windows Search tab, type Internet Options > Connections tab > LAN settings > uncheck use a proxy server for your LAN
2. Save the changes and exit.

At this point, you should note that users have reported malwares that check the proxy services. If you have malware on your system, the above step may not help and you need to run a malware scan using a reliable tool.

If the problem is still not fixed, run the command ipconfig /flushdns in Command Prompt.
