Fix 1: Run the Game With Admin Privileges

Without admin privileges certain function of the anti-cheat might be blocked by the operating system, which results in the error. Hence, to fix the issue you must provide admin access to the game. For this, you have to provide administrator rights to FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping, FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping-BE, FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping-EAC, and FortniteLauncher.

To complete the process, open the Fortnite folder and go to FortniteGame\Binaries\Win64. Once you are here, you need to provide admin access to one application at a time.

  1. Right-click on the application and select Properties
  2. Go to the Compatibility tab and check Run this program as an administrator
