How to Fix FiveM Minimap or Radar Not Working

Before you head to the following troubleshooting steps, make sure to go through the below some generic and quick workarounds and check if the FiveM Minimap or Radar not working issue is fixed.

– First of all, simply restart the game and check if the issue is fixed

– Make sure the game is updated to the latest version.

– Then, Go through the in-game settings and make sure that the Minimap and Radar settings are properly configured. Ensure that their opacity, size, and other settings are set appropriately.

If the issue persists even after trying these quick checks, you may now proceed to the following troubleshooting steps to fix the issue.

1. Update Your Graphics Card Driver

An outdated graphics card driver can also cause this issue so make sure to update it to the latest version. For this, visit the official website of your GPU manufacturer and get the latest version for your model.

2. Clear Cache

FiveM and GTA V might store temporary files that can sometimes cause issues. Clearing the cache might fix the issue. For this, Go to your FiveM installation folder and find the ‘cache’ folder. Delete its contents and check if the issue is fixed now.

3. Clear Game Cache Data

The next method we recommend is to clear game cache data. Below are the steps to perform this method:

– Open up the Run dialogue box by pressing the Win + R keys on your keyboard.

– Type ‘%appdata%’.

– Then, go to the Local folder >> Rockstar Games folder and delete the ‘GTA V’ folder.

– Once done, make sure to relaunch the game and check if the issue is fixed.

4. Disable Your Antivirus or Firewall Program

Your antivirus and firewall program is vital for your system and plays a very important role in protecting your PC from malware. However, it can also cause issues with the functionality of the game. If that is the case, try disabling them temporarily while accessing the game and the issue should be fixed now.

5. Reinstall the Game

If none of the above methods work to fix the issue, your last try is to uninstall the game completely from your device and reinstall it.

That’s all you can try fixing FiveM Minimap or Radar not working issue.
