The much awaited Diablo 4 is out now. The early access beta has already started and will last until March 20, 2023. But unfortunately, like other beta, Diablo 4 beta also has a lot of bugs and technical glitches. One such issue reported by a large number of players is the error code 34202. The exact error message reads – “WARNING: Game servers are not available. Please try again later. (Code 34202).” 

The error is self-explanatory and means that the game servers are currently not available, and the developer asks gamers to “Try again later”. This guide will focus on what you need to do when you receive error code 34202 in Diablo 4.

How to Fix Diablo 4 Error Code 34202

It is a frustrating situation when you cannot get on the game due to server-related issues and you have very less time to try out the new content Blizzard has offered in Diablo 4. Thankfully, there are a few methods you can attempt to fix error code 34202 in Diablo 4.

Before you start the following troubleshooting steps, make sure to update your graphics drivers and Windows to the latest version to fix this error.

1. Check for server outages

2. Close down other applications running in the background 

Apps and software running in the background can consume bandwidth, resulting in slower network speeds and high ping issues. So, it is advisable to close them down can help to resolve this error.

3. Make sure your internet connection is up and stable

A poor and unstable internet connection can also cause multiple errors so make sure your connection is stable and there are no issues with your modem/router. You can also try resetting your modem/router or try using a Wired connection as it is more stable and reliable than WiFi.

4. Update your network driver

If you are using an outdated network driver, you can then encounter error code 34202. So, make sure to update your network driver to the latest version to eliminate error code 34202 in Diablo 4.

5. Flush out your DNS and renew your IP

This is also one of the best and classic methods to resolve any connection-related issues while connecting the game. To do this:

– Open the Command Prompt on your PC and type the following commands and then press enter.

  • ipconfig /release
  • ipconfig /renew
  • ipconfig /flushdns

– Once done, close the Command Prompt and try launching the game again.

6. Disabling proxy settings

If none of these methods work, try reaching out to the Blizzard support team for further assistance.
