Destiny 2’s ‘Season of the Lost’ is underway and continues until Feb 2022, but the seasonal activity Astral Alignment is bugged with users reporting all kinds of issues from endless spawning of taken and the batteries not spawning. There are a total of four stages to complete the activity with the fourth being the defeat of the Taken boss. However, the Destiny 2 Astral Alignment bug appears in the third stage. How to Fix Destiny 2 Astral Alignment Not Working Bug
When you load the game, you should start from Blind Well at the point where it says Crush the intruders. If you don’t start there; unfortunately, you have encountered the Destiny 2 Astral Alignment bug. Once the game is bugged there is nothing you can do, the fix is to restart the game and hope the next time you load the bug does not appear.
The Ether Harvest is also bugged, but Bungie is aware of it and the activity is currently disabled. Here is the Tweet in which they acknowledged the bug.
Another issue players are running into is with the Install the Batteries activity. During the activity, players need to take the batteries to the top of the hill and deposit them. But, the batteries don’t spawn. Here is a possible workaround shared by a KingKosmo.
It’s a bug, but it can be avoided. In a few of my missions it happened I had no idea why it happened and then I saw on my 3rd run from the start that during the second part when you are on the escort the batteries section on the second set of batteries if 2 players are going up to the same plate at the same time they can accidently slam the battery in the same plate, causing both of the batteries to be consumed yet only activating one plate. In turn, this makes it so that there is one plate remaining but no other batteries spawn, you have to be careful since there is no designated button and your character will slam on it if you are too close to the plate. Simply have to make sure you aren’t stacking on the plates with the batteries.
