Dream On quest bug is another addition in the long list of glitches/bugs/errors hampering player’s experience in Cyberpunk 2077. This arises during one of the side missions and players are stuck with no further instructions. There are actually multiple issues in the “Dream On” Quest. Let’s discuss them all.
- This bug comes up during one of the missions in which the player is asked to “follow the cables”. Then you have to scan certain things and get out of the apartment but once you get out of the apartment and the player proceeds, there are no further instructions on what to do and no tracker to guide you
- After you have cleared the entire area, even shot the corpses to make sure everyone’s dead, scanned the entire area, the game will still not recognize this and you will not be able to advance.
Cyberpunk 2077 “Dream On” Quest Bug | How to Fix These Issues
There has been no official solution to the bug from the developers neither did the latest patches fix it. However, players have been actively participating and commenting on several community discussion forums with possible solutions.
- For the “follow the cables” issue – Players have suggested that you’re supposed to find a hidden room (this can be accessed by a computer in the security room on the lower floor, use the access code for the second computer, 6709, then go to Local Network tab to unlock the door) and then climb up the ladder and look for the trans receiver on the roof. On top of the roof, the cables will be connecting to this trans receiver. You then need to scan this receiver and you should then be able to talk to Elizabeth and complete the quest.
- For the “neutralize all attackers” issue – Users have commented that when you finish following the van, you are supposed to get ambushed then you will find two armored Militech soldiers running up the ladder to get on the roof. You will have to snipe these two Militech soldiers quickly before they go off-screen.
