We’ve been waiting for CD Projekt Red to fix the Cyberpunk 2077 Bug in The Hunt’s braindance for nearly a month now, but even before the developers get a change, the ever active gaming community has come up with solutions of their own to work past the bug and continue with the game. But, the bug is not what you think is the bug. It’s a glitch where the game does not suggest the correct control or key to input; thus, leaving you in the dark. Fix Cyberpunk 2077 Bug in ‘The Hunt’ Braindance
To fix the Cyberpunk 2077 Bug in ‘The Hunt’ Braindance, you need to complete the first part of the quest normally until you come upon the bug. Do the braindance sequence and scan the items required by the game – teacher, bulletin boards, and trophy, not necessarily in this order. Once you have done that, the game should feel bugged as you may be stuck not knowing what to do to progress. At this point, players on PC can press the X key on the keyboard (Xbox One users can hit the B and PS4 can press the Circle) and you will progress to the remaining part of the braindance.
As we mentioned, it’s unlike any other bug in the game where a certain NCP would fail to show up, take your call, or the elevator would not take you to your destination. With the Cyberpunk 2077 Bug in ‘The Hunt’ Braindance, the game simply fails to indicate the right input so you can progress further.
We have to thank Redditor Absolut4 for coming up with this simple, yet ingenious solution. Needless to say, this is an effective fix for the bug and by pressing the appropriate input depending on your device you can bypass the bug and continue with the game.
To recap, after you have scanned the last item press the X key on PC and you will be able to exit the braindance and continue with the quest.
