How to Fix Cyberpunk 2077 Black Screen

Although the guide can be useful in fixing the Cyberpunk 2077 on all operating systems, the guide gives example for Windows 10 users. So, depending on your OS, things might be slightly different but not a whole lot.

Ensure video drivers are updated

One of the main reasons why the black screen is occurring is due to an instable or outdated video driver. New drivers have hotfix for the issues on the previous version of the driver. They are also tuned to support new games. Prior to the launch of any big title, both NVidia and AMD release new drivers to provide day-one support for the game. Alt-tab out of the game and back in

When you encounter the black screen in Cyberpunk 2077, press Alt + Tab simultaneously to exit out of the game to the desktop.   2. Press Windows Key + R and type msconfig, hit Enter
