1. First of all, try using a different web browser. Sometimes, your browser itself has some issues and so you see a black screen when streaming Netflix on Discord. Many users have resolved this matter by using a different web browser so you can give it a try.

2. The next easy method to fix this issue is to add a browser to Discord’s game library. To do so:

– Launch Discord and go to User Settings. There you will see a small cogwheel on the bottom left side of the screen

– From the left side, click on the Activity Status tab

– Now, click on the blue Add it! Button

– Find out your browser in the menu and click on “Add Game”

– Once added, return to the main screen of Discord and then start streaming and now the issue should be resolved

3. Another way you could do this is to clear the Discord cache to resolve the black screen issue. To do this:

– Close your Discord app

– Press Win + R keys to open up the Run dialogue box

– Type %appdata% and click on Ok

– Then go to the Discord folder there you will see a Cache folder

– Delete that Cache folder to clear the Discord cache

– Once done, run your Netflix content on Discord and you will be able to enjoy it without the black screen issue

4. If the above solutions didn’t do the trick, try turning off browser hardware acceleration.

For Google Chrome:

– Launch Chrome and click on the three dots

– Next, type in hardware acceleration in Chrome’s settings search engine

– Click on “Use hardware acceleration when available”

– Lastly, click on Relaunch

 For Mozilla Firefox:

– Launch Firefox and go to its Settings by clicking on the menu button

– Go to the General tab and uncheck recommended performance settings

– Uncheck the “Use hardware acceleration when available” option

– Relaunch Firefox

After disabling it, start the content on Netflix, and go to Discord, and now the black screen issue should be resolved when streaming Netflix on Discord.
