Battlefield 2042 is already launched but still, it brings several new problems every day including matchmaking failed Error 3900I. And the latest issue is related to loadout. In Battlefield 2042, loadouts are planned to allow players to moderately easily be able to swap between several attachments to make most of the current situation. However, recently many players are not able to use their guns properly because of a loadout bug in Battlefield 2042. Moreover, players need to make new loadouts and change their attachments from the pause menu middle of the game which is quite frustrating. Fortunately, there are some workarounds you can try to fix Battlefield 2042 Loadout Bug.
How to Fix Battlefield 2042 Loadout Bug
Although, the devs have released a patch on the very first day when Battlefield 2042 was launched and the overall performance has been improved, this bug is still appearing in the middle of the game which is quite frustrating. However, the loadout bug in Battlefield 2042 is temporary. Here we present you some of the best workarounds which are tried by many players and worked for many players.
1. Disable Battlefield’s crossplay settings
It looks like the loadout bug is related to the crossplay settings. So, first of all, try to disable Battlefield’s crossplay settings and the issue should be resolved, or at least it will reduce the chances of this bug appearing.
2. Create a new loadout mid-match
The second solution is to simply create a new loadout in the middle of the match. Obviously, it will take a longer time to create as you will need to apply all attachments again. But, once you complete, you will be able to use your favorite weapon again in BF2042.
3. Customize your Weapon
This solution is shared by one of the users on Reddit and it worked so you can also give it a try. Open up the loadout menu before you spawn and then customize your weapon. Then, put the ammo you want to use in the first slot. This process is a bit frustrating but it will work.
If these solutions don’t work, then wait for the next patch by Battlefield 2042 as only the devs can fix this issue permanently. From day one, several issues occur including stuttering, lag, and FPS drops. And so, DICE should resolve many of BF2042’s problems before it is too late.
This is not a ‘fix’ it is a ‘work around’ a ‘fix’ would be something that would prevent it from reoccurring.
With that said, I found that if I turned on my ‘share data’ setting in general options I will get booted from games at launch occasionally, but when I do successfully get into a game, my loadouts remain intact. Hope this helps others so they don’t have to keep recreating a loadout and reoutfit their vehicles
The only solution for the loadout edit crash was removing Battlefield 2042 folder from the Documents folder and launching the game.
