Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is an amazing game, one of the best in the series, and the most profitable for Ubisoft. So, naturally, Ubisoft wants to milk the cow as much as possible with new content and offers. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s latest update brought the Oskoreia Festival, which adds a lot of interesting stuff to the game. But it’s also brought about an old bug in the game that has Eivor stuck in his steps unable to move. Similar bugs were present when the game was initially released, but this time we have a prompt response and a workaround from Ubisoft.
While Ubisoft did not give an ETA on the fix for the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Eivor unable to move or stuck bug, they provided a generic workaround, which any player could have guessed. Here is what they said in a Tweet, “Hey there! We are aware of this issue with Eivor being unable to move and we’re investigating. In the meantime, some players have reported that rebooting the game and fast traveling specifically to Ireland appears to help. Would you give that a try and let us know how it goes?”
We tried the fix ourselves and it works. Fast traveling does not work all the time, but rebooting the game fixes the bug for sure.
So, until there is a permanent fix from the devs, if you have encountered the bug where Eivor does not move, try to fast travel to Ireland, failing that reboot the game, and the issue should be gone.
I’ve got the same issue and i can’t go to ireland as i’m only about 14 hours in. Deleted the game, resinstalled, updated, and even loaded older save files, still no luck. My character is unable to move. I purposely bought this game months after its release so that all the bugs would be ironed out.UGGGGGH. NOT HAPPY UBISOFT!
If you also fast travel from England back to Norway it fixes it.
I’m stuck too if u travel to Norway it’s fine as soon I travel back to England the bug comes back can’t move
