The fans of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla now can play the Siege of Paris DLC which is released recently on 12th August for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia, and Xbox Series X|S. However, many players are getting an annoying message that says “cannot save game right now”. Players are experiencing that as soon as they get to that part where Toka shows them the grave location or when they ride to her village, they get this message. And so, they need to start the whole DLC again which is frustrating.
Thankfully, this game has an autosave feature but still, players are losing a certain part of progress.
It seems there are no solutions so far, and hopefully, devs will release a new patch soon. Meanwhile, the only thing players can do is to save the game manually so they don’t lose progress.
Although this game has an autosave feature, Siege of Paris allows you to save it manually which is quite straightforward. There are two ways you can save the game.
1. To save your game manually, you simply hit the menu button and get into the in-game menu. Here, you will need to press left on the d-pad and open up the ‘main’ menu. Now you will see a ‘Save’ option at the top of the list.
2. Also, you can access the quick menu by holding down the d-pad. Here you need to press the ‘X’ button to save it quickly.
That’s all you can do to prevent your game progress. At the time of writing, devs have not yet acknowledged this issue and hopefully, they will do soon and release a new patch that has a permanent solution for AC Valhalla: Siege of Paris Cannot Save Message error so the players can enjoy this game seamlessly.
