The Fire Giant can be located in Flame Peak at Mountaintop of the Giants. To get there, you can use the Church of Repose Site of Grace and head east till you can spot the Foot of the Forge Site of Grace. You will have to go through the opening to get to the Fire Giant.
- You can summon Spirit Ash or an ally to help you
- The Fire Giant has a few choice moves, making use of its shield to plow snow at you or smack it on the ground.
- Using your shield or trying to get behind it will reduce the impact of its snow wave rather than just rolling away since its AOE is large
- You can easily dodge its shield swings and foot stomps as these moves are fairly predictable
- There is a rope on its left leg that if you chip away, you will get to its weak spot
- If you see any orbs hurtling at you, dodge while it comes close or it will follow you and leave a trail of fire.
- It will try to roll away or towards you, so try to dodge at the right time
- While rolling away, it will throw fireballs at you from a distance. Keep an eye on where it will land and keep running
- If you hear it roar, you have to get away as fast as possible, as it will scorch the area with its flaming hands or spew volcanic rocks from its mouth. Use Torrent to get away quicker.
- Your best bet of attack would be to get behind it and aim for its feet, legs, and knees. Its weak spot will vanish in the second phase, and during that time you will have to try stabbing the eye on its chest.
- Staying as close to him as possible will eliminate the chances of you getting scorched by its fire attacks.
- Be careful of attacking from the side, as it tends to roll around
- Any weapon, spell, or incantation that deals bleed damage can be used to bring it down quicker
You will require a lot of patience and learn how the Fire Giant moves to be able to read it. Once you defeat it, you will be rewarded with the 180,000 Runes and the Remembrance of the Fire Giant.
