FIFA 23 World Cup Mode
FIFA 18 was the last video game to include a World Cup mode as part of the game. The mode was released as free DLC and featured the 32 teams participating in the World Cup at the time and 12 different stadiums. We expect a similar DLC release for FIFA 23, coinciding with the 2022 World Cup.
However, there is no precise release date for FIFA 23’s World Cup mode yet. We can get a general idea of when it might drop. EA has promised to reveal more information as we get closer to the release date, but in the meantime, we can comfortably guess that it will be released around the same time as the real-life World Cup.
Looking at the franchise’s previous release schedule, we can see that they usually release the World Cup DLC coinciding with the actual World Cup event. Considering that the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 begins on November 20, 2022, it’s likely that the FIFA 23 World Cup DLC will drop on or around this date.
We’re assuming that FIFA 23 will also release a women’s side, in addition to the men’s side. We don’t know for sure yet if there will be a World Cup but stay tuned for updates. Also, be sure to keep checking our other guides for more helpful tips and tricks about the game.
