FIFA 23 will be released on September 30th. More and more people are starting to get excited about the day, with every passing minute. What makes this game different from other games? There is an increase in realism because of HyperMotion2, which helps 11v11 matches work much better by analyzing them through machine learning. This means players don’t have to worry about any lag while playing the game – making it seem like they’re actually living the life of their favorite player.
The FIFA 23 Online Friendlies mode makes it easy for you to compete against friends. Invite a friend to play an online game and keep track of your competition over five seasons – the player with the most points at the end of those five games wins. Keep fighting for the Cup if you’re defending it, or try taking it away from your friends if they are defending theirs.
Let’s find out how to play online friendlies in FIFA 23.

- After that, select your friend from the Recent Opponents list or tap New Friendly Season.

One major novelty for this year’s football simulator is that players can now implement cross-platform matchmaking. Now, Xbox and PlayStation users can play against each other for new rivalries across different platforms.
Cross-play matches between different generations of consoles are not currently an option. For example, gamers using the PlayStation 5 will be unable to compete against or team up with gamers using a previous generation console like the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.
This feature change has been met with much opposition from fans who believe it denies them access to playing games they can’t otherwise play due to buying an older console model and/or living in a region where matching across generations isn’t possible yet.
