You will need to meet with the Dung Eater if you wish to get one of the final endings of the game. You can find his apparition at the Roundtable Hold, near where the Twin Maiden Husks are. He appears out of the blue in the latter part of the game, especially after unlocking the Altus Plateau region. If you engage with him without the Seedbed Curse, he will just talk about trivial matters. You will need at least one Seedbed Curse in your inventory to make him open up. He will tell you to visit the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds since his body is trapped there, and will give you the Sewer-Gaol Key. You should have Leyndell the Royal Capital unlocked to venture into the sewers of the Capital’s underground to feed the Dung Eater some Seedbed Curses.
To reach the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds, head over to the Avenue Balcony Site of Grace and take the stairs down. Jump over the railing on the left side, then keep to your right till you reach a well. Use this to jump down and gain access to the Shunning Grounds. Explore the area to find the Underground Roadside Site of Grace.
From the Underground Roadside, head outside the room and take a left. Keep going till you reach an open grate on the floor, which you can use to access the sewers. From here, keep going north past the poison plant enemies till you reach a ladder. Once you take the ladder to the room, you will encounter the Spider Hands. Behind them is the cell where Dung Eater is held captive. Use the key you got earlier to set him free and give him the Seedbed Curse.
