Digimon Survive is a visual novel/tactical role-playing game with survival aspects developed by Hyde and released in 2022 by Bandai Namco Entertainment for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows. It was premiered in Japan on July 28 and globally on July 29.
Dokugumon, a huge spider with deadly attacks and sticky webs, is the first boss encounter in Digimon Survive. After removing the webs from a school desk, you learn that Aoi has gone missing, having been abducted and trapped by Dokugumon. Only defeating Dokugumon and its minions will save her.
The tactical aspect of the confrontation begins after an early cutscene in which you utilise your newly discovered spirit light to burn and weaken Dokugumon. Let’s see how to defeat Dokugumon in the game.

Defeating Dokugumon in Digimon Survive
The battle with Dokugumon takes place in a vast chamber with few obstacles. It appears in the corner, distant from the other three minions. As a result, it’s best to isolate each opponent and battle them one by one.
This provides some kind of safety in numbers, which is critical for keeping Labramon and Agumon alive, a major requirement for the fight. More significantly, this makes it simpler to strike from the sides and rear, providing significant damage increases.
Given Dokugumon’s enormous health pool, this is very important. However, it is critical to eliminate the minions initially to prevent becoming overwhelmed later when more of them appear. Because these opponents are all vulnerable to fire damage, Agumon should be very useful here.
When you reduce Dokugumon’s health in the first phase, a sequence appears in which two additional minions appear in a remote corner of the area. Agumon receives a blast of energy in vengeance, activating its first evolution and morphing into Tyrannomon. Tyrannomon’s damage is substantially more than Agumon’s, making the last portion of the fight simpler than the beginning.
The optimum approach, in this case, is identical to the first step. Simply isolate targets and utilise flanking to your advantage. However, since there will be no further reinforcements, whatever order you take on each opponent during this round is less critical.
