Elden Ring introduces a host of new mechanisms in the game, and fresh challenges for players, one of which is the chariots that are designed to get under your skin. It’s important to know how to deal with them, so here’s a guide on how to get around to destroying the chariots in the Auriza Hero’s Grave in Elden Ring.
How to Destroy the Chariots in the Auriza Hero’s Grave in Elden Ring
Sometimes when you’re trying to enter a hero’s grave, chariots will be out to get you. These are traps that are designed to kill you before you can enter the grave, and after a few rough encounters, they can be quite annoying. You’ll need to learn to expect them every time to enter a similar place, and how to avoid them entirely.

Auriza Hero’s Dungeon can be found in the Capital City, which is in the north at Altus Plateau. To find the dungeon, you need to jump into the wind jump area on horseback to avoid taking fall damage, and head to the building where there is an elevator waiting to take you inside.
In the dungeon, you might be lulled into a false sense of security, but beware of the multiple chariots that are out to get you. You can avoid the first one by running down the ramp and quickly entering the alcoves in the walls when the chariot comes. Once you make your way down the ramp, another will lead up, and stepping foot on it will trigger the second chariot. You can avoid it by waiting for a few moments on the platform between the two ramps.
The third and fourth chariots will be on a downward ramp which you have to go between. The timing is essential as you need to wait for a moment that the chariots will not hit you, to quickly run past them into the pillars. The fifth chariot is near a door in the dungeon. You can simply jump down when you see it spawn, from one ledge to another until you find yourself on some stone beams. There is an archway with a ladder that you can climb to enter a small tunnel.
When you emerge from the tunnel, you will find a ramp with the sixth chariot in this dungeon. Wait for it to go down and use the ramp opposite where you are, where you will find a fire-shooting statue. It will rise up when you hit it. Now you can climb up the ramp back to the place of the two running chariots, and find a new addition to the platform of the ramp—a summoning circle. You can summon another chariot and cause it to crash into the two running chariots to permanently destroy them. These pesky chariots won’t be bothering you anymore.
