There is a weekly rotation for Nightfall weapons during the Season of Defiance Nightfall activities, and each week you can pick up some of your old favorites off the shelves. Completing the activities can also help you gain Pinnacle Gear engram, but if getting your hands on the rare weapon is your priority, then you can go ahead and do that as well. Destiny 2 – What is the Nightfall Weapon This Week (March 7 to 14)
For this week only, you can claim a rare weapon to add to your arsenal by completing the Nightfall activity. Here we will see what it is in Destiny 2
You can get the prized Mindbender’s Ambition Legendary Shotgun, and to get it you should participate in the Mars Heist Battlegrounds. Currently the Grandmaster Nightfall battleground is not available, so you cannot get an adept for the current weapon. While playing the battleground, you will be face to face with Champions Unstoppable and Barrier. Below are all the buffs and debuffs you can get while participating in the battleground
- Solar: +25% Solar Damage received
- Void: +25 outgoing Void damage bonus
- Strand: +25 outgoing Strand damage bonus
- Empath: Get increased damage from Melee
- Chaff: Disabled Radar
- Overcharged Machine Gun: +25% Machine Gun damage bonus
- Overcharged Weapons: Any Seasonal Artifact weapon overcharges are active. If your subclass element coincides with the active surge, then kinetic weapons will deal increased damage output
Your final score in Nightfall should reach 200,000 to get the weapon. It is best to play the game on the hardest difficulty, but you will also have a power reduction the higher you go. Master will ask for 1840 Power and will give -25 Power Level if you participate. But luckily, you don’t have to reach the score in a single run, and it can be done on multiple Nightfall runs.
