Ascendant Challenge is an activity where players can complete each week once they get access to the Dreaming City. The weekly bounty in this challenge rewards players with Powerful Gear. Locating the location of Petra Venj (the vendor who provides the bounty) and then the portal (that gives access to Ascendant Challenge) can be a tricky situation for new and old players alike. So for the same, we have collated the basics you need to learn to access the locations and participate in the challenges in a simple and straightforward way.

- For players to participate in Ascendant Challenge, they will require Tincture of Queensfoil. This will help players to see the black portals and complete challenges. Queensfoil can be availed through public events, patrol activities, open chests.
- Players will have to visit Petra Venj (vendor) who will provide you the Ascendant Challenge bounty. The location of Petra Venj can be The Strand, Divilian Mists, and Rehasilva which will be influenced by the three curse cycles which are weak, medium, and strong respectively.
- After collecting the bounty from Petra Venj, players will need to find the portal to the Ascendant Plane. Note – the location of the portal keeps rotating between – Garden of Esila, Spine of Keres, Harbinger’s Seclude, Bay of Drowned Wishes, Chamber of Starlight, and Aphelion’s Rest.

Ascendant Challenge Walkthrough This Week: Bay of Drowned Wishes Location Guide
The Ascendant Challenge this week starting 19 Jan and ending on 25 Jan is called the Agonarch Abyss Challenge. To complete the challenge, you will have to go to the Bay of Drowned Wishes and collect your prize from Dreaming City.
To get to the location, you will first have to spawn at Divilian Mists. If you turn around, the icon of the lost sector should be visible, it’s distinctive and easy to spot. Go inside and keep going forward. Bay of Drowned Wishes is the Lost Sector. After you exit the den, keep heading forward in the right direction. There are exploding screebs scattered, so be careful of them. Equip the Tincture of Queensfoil and the platform leading to the Ascendant Plane should appear.
How to Complete this Week’s Ascendant Challenge – Jan 19 to 25 2021
Unlike other challenges, the Ascendant challenge for the week is quite easy to complete and every player should attempt it for the loot. Keep in the direction of the toland in the Ascendant Plane. You will fall several times, until you finally reach the last platform. There is a boss fight on the last platform, defeat the boss and the loot is yours.
