Contraband Police Unable to Remove Contraband from Rims Fix

Before you try anything else, here is what the devs advise you to try and fix the problem, “You should be able to cut the tires open with a knife. Also, ensure the contraband hasn’t fallen on the ground near the tires.”

The devs suggest that you use a knife, but the axe also does the job, and it is advised you try it if you have already tried using the knife to cut open the tires.

Just to recap the issue, most people who have the Contraband Police Unable to Remove Contraband from Rim’s bug have the bug with Fiat Polski (Micros 26D). The rims on the wheel have the snake logo. If this is the same vehicle that has the bug for you, know that it’s a well-reported issue, and the devs may address it in a patch. But until then, try the below workarounds.

One of the issues that may be causing the bug is that the game requires you to be in a specific spot for the hit to count. Try to move around a little and attempt to hit the tires again. This is the most probable cause for the inability to remove contraband from rims or tires.

Another thing to note here is that the Fiat Polski (Micros 26D) has tires that sit very close to the fender, which makes most angles odd to hit the tires but keep trying different positions, and you should be able to hit the tires. Try using the Axe; it’s been the most successful tire tearing.

At the time of writing, this is the best you can do to fix the bug, but we will keep an eye on the situation and update the post when we hear more from the devs, or there is a new patch that fixes the bug.
