COD: Mobile Season 5 has arrived, bringing with it a range of new content, including three new maps, two new game types, and a brand new Battle Pass chock-full of glittering new goodies to acquire, such as operators, camos, scorestreaks, and more.
And, like with every new season, there is a new meta to mix things up, as the devs release a variety of balancing modifications and new weapons. When it comes to balance modifications, the Season 5 update focused mostly on the SMG class, with nerfs to the PP19 Bizon, QXR, and AGR 556, but one of the game’s most effective snipers has also been nerfed.
In this guide, we rate all of the sniper and marksman Rifles for COD: Mobile Season 5 from best to worst in our tier list, taking into account all of the balance adjustments.

Sniper Tier List in COD Mobile Season 5
COD Mobile Season 5 includes four marksman guns and seven sniper rifles. Season 4 brought the MK2 Carbine, Season 2 the SP-R 208 sniper rifle, and this update offered only one new weapon at the start of the season, the CR-56 AMAX assault rifle.
We’ve gone with a typical five-tier structure, from S to D.
S-Tier | The finest Snipers in Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5. |
A-Tier | With a good loadout, these Sniper/Marksman Rifles might compete with the S-Tier. |
B-Tier | These Sniper/Marksman Rifles are extremely capable and have a large loadout. |
C-Tier | This Sniper/Marksman Rifle grade involves a flawless loadout. |
D-Tier | The garbage layer. You’d be better off utilising one of the other weapons on this list. |
Tier lists aren’t a precise science. However, based on our testing, new weapons, and balancing tweaks, this list gives you a solid indication of the power rankings for Sniper and Marksman Rifles at the start of COD: Mobile Season 5.
Sniper Rifle Tier List
All of the sniper and marksman Rifles in COD: Mobile Season 5 are listed from best to worst below. We begin with S-tier long-range weapons that may easily dispatch your opponents.
S-Tier Snipers
These are the very greatest Sniper/Marksman Rifles in the game right now. The balance modifications in Season 5 have not affected the SP-R 208, and it deserves to be pushed up to the S-Tier of our list as one of the most powerful and dependable snipers in COD: Mobile Season 5.
- MK2 Carbine
- DL Q33
- SP-R 208
A-Tier Snipers
A-Tier snipers can be described as “great but not the greatest.” You won’t go wrong with any of these firearms, especially if they match your chosen playstyle. The most notable change here is the Locus, which has dropped from the S-Tier as a result of the mentioned nerf.
- SKS
- Kilo Bolt-Action
- Locus
B-Tier Snipers
Both the XPR-50 and the M21 EBR are capable weapons, but they will need some tweaking to reach their full capability. They can be as lethal as A-Tier weapons with the correct loadout and in the right hands.
- M21 EBR
- XPR-50
C-Tier Snipers
Despite having the best mobility in its class, the Arctic.50 falls short in a number of areas, and it is just not a viable option in the current COD: Mobile meta.
- Arctic.50
D-Tier Snipers
Unfortunately, we have nothing pleasant to say about these two weapons. Avoid them and wait for developers to add buffs to them before attempting to use them.
- NA-45
- Outlaw
At the start of COD: Mobile Season 5, these are all the sniper and marksman guns sorted from best to worst. Get your hands on Season 5 and begin playing.
