As a second boss, he’s a tad bit tougher than Krell Guardian, but nothing you can’t handle. Stick around with the guide and we will show you how to beat the Stone Golem in Chronos: Before the Ashes.
How to Beat the Stone Golem in Chronos: Before the Ashes
The reward for defeating the Stone Golem is the All Seeing Eye achievement. When you defeat the boss you will get the Golem’s Eye, which you need to take to the blacksmith to unlock the achievement.
Chronos: Before the Ashes has five bosses (Krell Guardian, Stone Golem, Red Widow, Pan Guardian, Labyrinth Guardian, and the Dreamer) and all of them are distinct in their appearance and power. The Stone Golem is a formidable opponent with a distinct glowing eye that floats in the head region.
The fight takes place in two parts. The first is easy with some basic attacks from the Stone Golem and at this stage you will be able to easily chip away his health. At the start of the fight, the Stone Golem has two attacks that are basic and easy to dodge, but don’t get greedy in finishing the game fast as if you get damaged initially, the fight will be unwinnable later-on when he draws more powerful powers.
With so many bosses in the game, their huge size is an advantage for players. The same goes for the Stone Golem, his huge size make him slow and easy to dodge the attacks. The first attack that the boss would use is a swing, which is followed by a jackhammer attack.
The strategy to use at this stage is to wait for him to swing his arm, at that point, get to his back and start attacking.
When the Stone Golem’s health goes down to half, the tougher part of the fight starts as he brings new powers and speed to the fight. At this stage of the fight, the boss will remove one of his arm and hold it with the other for a further reach with the swing. That’s all these is and nothing too difficult.
Keep dodging his attacks and chipping away his health. Eventually, the Stone Golem will be defeated and you will get the Golem’s Eye, which you can take to the blacksmith. That’s all we have in this guide. For more, browse the game category.
