How to Beat the Dreamer in Chronos: Before the Ashes
The fight with the Dreamer takes place in another world where he sucks you as soon as you reach him. In this place, you will face the Clawbone. One of the things you should know before you enter into a fight with the boss is that he has the ability to drain your health if you use the Dragon Heart. So, avoid using the Dragon Heart to heal yourself at all costs. Instead, you can use the Shadow Stone.
His favourite attacks at swipe like a few other bosses and bite attack. Besides the two go-to attacks, he also blows fire at you if you astray too far. Since the Dreamer has a ranged attack, we suggest that you stay close during the fight. If you get too far, you will be exposed to the fire and when you get near, there is the swipe and bite. By staying close, eliminate the possibility of the blowing fire attack.
Get to his blind side, dodge the attacks, and when the opportunity presents itself lay your own attacks. After a while when he’s taken some damage he’ll stop moving and start throwing fire in a straight line, jump out of the fire’s way when this happens. If you get hit by the fire you will die quickly.
The Dreamer has a combination of all attacks of the previous boss, not exactly but similar skills. He even flies above and lands down right in front of you, which is followed by a swipe attack or can shoot down fire when he’s flying. When he takes flight that’s your cue to dodge attacks. The best way to dodge the aerial attacks is to keep moving in the arena.
When he’s in the air, he cannot drain your health when you use the Dragon Stone. So, use the opportunity to heal yourself with the Dragon Stone. Use the above strategy and keep attacking the beast and eventually, you will be able to beat the Dreamer in Chronos: Before the Ashes.
