More info on the Marina Bay Grand Prix multiplayer map
Activision unexpectedly lifted the curtains on the Marina Bay Grand Prix multiplayer map at the CDL Champs 2022 event. The publishers showcased a flythrough of the map. A short trailer has been uploaded on YouTube.
We get to see the developers’ focus on photorealistic graphics with this map, much like the scenes revealed in the Campaign Early Access trailer. Some scenes confirm that the Formula 1 racing track “Marina Bay” is based in the same city that was showcased as part of one of the campaign mission’s locations.
Being the first Modern Warfare 2 map to be confirmed, we are expecting to see this map in the Open Beta, which starts on the 16th of September.
The Marina Bay Grand Prix multiplayer map was leaked back in June 2022. Several files within Call of Duty Mobile contained leaks to this map alongside some others from Modern Warfare 2 and 2024’s Call of Duty title. The official reveal confirms these leaks and paves the way for MW2 Multiplayer.
The publisher has not revealed a lot of information on the multiplayer mode of the upcoming game. However, more intel will be made public on September 15 at the official event.
The early look at the Marina Bay Grand Prix map looks promising. This short trailer teases the upcoming Call of Duty experience.
