Bungie Acknowledged Destiny 2 Loadouts Locked or Disabled Issue

Destiny 2 is an extremely popular online multiplayer first-person shooter game developed and published by Bungie. However, this game has a lot of bugs and technical glitches that hinder the overall gaming experience. These problems range from crashing or graphics run time errors to error codes like cabbage and broccoli, etc. In addition to these issues, lately, many Destiny 2 gamers are complaining on different forums that the Loadouts are locked or disabled.

@BungieHelp are Destiny loadouts disabled or something? Made a Titan loadout just last week but now I can't access loadouts. Says I need to progress Guardian ranks but I'm rank 7 and thought that was high enough

Hell yeah brother I love losing access to my loadouts 16 hours before the new season goes live. Who wants to get this won’t be fixed before the raid race and we’ll have to go without loadout access the whole time

Well, if you have no idea about load-outs, in Destiny 2, load-outs are the combination of weapons, equipment, and armor that gamers equip on their characters. These load-outs are used to tailor gamers’ characters’ abilities and play styles to different activities within the game like PvE and PvP. Unfortunately, due to some issues, many players are reporting that the layouts are locked or disabled in Destiny 2.

It is quite a frustrating issue when your load-outs are locked or disabled in Destiny 2. Thankfully, the developer has already acknowledged this issue on their official Twitter page.

Due to an issue, we have temporarily disabled the Loadouts function. This will appear in-game as Loadouts being locked behind Guardian Ranks.

Any existing Loadouts will be saved and available to all players who have already unlocked them once a fix can be deployed.

As you can read, due to some issues, they have disabled the load-out function. They have also added that “Any existing Loadouts will be saved and available to all players who have already unlocked them once a fix can be deployed.”

Furthermore, they updated the matter recently on August 25, 2023, and said, “A permanent fix is currently being tested and is scheduled to go live in a future release.”

UPDATE: A temporary fix to re-enable Loadouts is targeted to be released next week. This temporary fix will not pull items from your vault.
