Dori is the latest 4-star electro claymore unit from Sumeru released by Genshin Impact in the second half of Version 3.0. While she’s one of the funniest playable units with one of the unique attack animations, players are disappointed in her gameplay mechanics and utility. She’s a very niche unit and in this article, we’re going to look at some of the playable characters that benefit her kit or vice-versa.
Dori’s Best Teammates in Genshin Impact 3.0
Dori’s supposed to be an electro healer and battery but she’s only viable in one of those roles which is that of the healer. And frankly, we already have plenty of better healers than her in the game. She provides passive energy regeneration and is generally good for hypercarry units that demand a lot of field time. Below we’ve listed her best teammates and why.
Eula
Eula has a long wind-up time for her Lightfall Sword to gather stacks. During this time she must remain on-field and can get vulnerable. This is where Dori comes in as she can not only proc Superconduct but also give her healing and energy in this phase.
Xiao
Xiao has similar uses of Dori as Eula does. Xiao generates a very small amount of elemental particles but he demands a high field time to function. This is where Dori comes in to refund him energy for his elemental burst and keep him healed throughout his time on-field.
Jean
Jean and Dori can trigger a fun mechanic where Jean’s elemental burst can consistently swirl Dori’s self-applying electro. This can be useful in Sunfire Jean comps with Bennet, Dori and Jean triggering multiple powerful reactions when their bursts are active. Jean and Dori can also be used in Hyperbloom teams in this way provided Jean and Dori have enough EM.
Bennett
Bennett’s burst applies Pyro to your characters in regular intervals and Dori’s burst does the same with the electro element. Together, Dori can keep triggering Overload on herself and damage surrounding enemies. If you’ve already activated Bennett’s C6 then you can even use Dori to trigger more overload on surrounding enemies.
Dori cannot be trusted to apply electro or proc electro reactions reliably. Still, she’s a decent and versatile unit in the sense that if you need an electro character who can serve as a battery and a healer and you Fischl is busy in another team, then Dori can be your go-to option.
