While playing Call of Duty: Warzone, you might come across some points where you wish you could see well. That’s where the FOV Settings come into play. The Field of View is important in any game as it allows you to see your surroundings better. The FOV Settings can either make or break your game. In this guide, we will see how to set the FOV for optimal gameplay.
Best FOV Settings for Warzone Pacific
Field of View setting is available in most FPS games. The clearer your surroundings are, the better you can see your enemies. Technically speaking, having a high or maxed FOV can also make your targets appear smaller, which will give your performance a toss. Here are the settings you can use to fix the FOV.
- Launch the game
- Open Settings
- Select the General option
- Go to Screen Section and find FOV Settings
- Click on the advanced option for more settings
Warzone has its FOV set to 80 by default for PC and Console, but PC players can change it, and the maximum it can go up to is 120. For console players, this is unfortunately not the case as the console didn’t get a FOV slider yet so it is capped at 80.
If you are playing on a PC with a controller, you can choose anywhere between 95 and 105 as an ideal FOV. It is the perfect balance of spatial awareness and the targets being the right size to find and hit.
The higher the FOV the smaller your targets will look to fit your screen, especially while using aim assist to shoot at them. On the lower side of the FOV spectrum, your screen will be cut and you won’t be able to see your enemies on the side and, in the worst-case scenario, get motion sickness.
Controller players on PC should take advantage of the Scale Aim Assist along with the FOV option. This will help scale the aim assist with the FOV, making it more consistent.
Mouse and keyboard players shouldn’t worry about the Aim Assist, as no matter how small the targets are, you can adjust it. Setting your FOV between 105 and 115 is ideal.
Be warned, as a high FOV might affect your PC performance. Since it is trying hard to show everything on the screen, it could affect your system. Experimenting with the FOV slider will help fix that if you find that your PC is having problems.
That’s all there is to know about FOV settings and the ideal setting for PC. Console players would still have to wait to get them, so for now you will have to make do with the default settings and keep an eye out for more updates to the game.
