Best Dachsbun Moveset
- Misty Terrain
- Charm / Yawn
- Helping Hand
- Play Rough
Judging by Dachsbun’s stats, it is best suited as a support role, due to its high defense and special defense stats. For regular Tera Raids, having your Defense stat in EV set to high is suitable, but it is the opposite when it comes to the Charizard Tera Raid. For the special raid, it is best to keep your Special Defense high instead. Also, having Careful as Dachsbun’s nature during the Charizard raid can further increase Special Defense, whereas Impish will suffice for high Defense during regular Tera Raids. The Well Baked Body ability will further increase Dachsbun’s defense by 2 stages every time it is hit by a Fire-type move, but also gives it immunity against fire moves.
Ground Tera Type can help Dachsbun fight against Poison and Steel types while having Fairy tera type can counter Dragon type. There isn’t much difference in Dachsbun’s moveset, except swapping Charm for Yawn during Charizard’s tera raid. Yawn can help put Charizard to sleep, but Charm’s lowering of attack stat by 2 stages may not be as effective.
During the 7-star raid, you can first use Yawn, then follow that up with Misty Terrain, which is super effective against Dragon types. Next, you can use Helping Hand to boost your ally’s attack output by 50% when it is their turn to fight, then use Play Rough to lower the opponent’s attack stat by 10%. You should always have Dachsbun hold the Ability Shield to protect itself and not have its ability changed.
