Outriders, the 2021 looter shooter, has a total of 4 classes. All of these classes have their own set of pros and cons. The PvP game allows players to choose from the classes according to their will. This makes choosing between them an important decision. None of these classes are particularly better than the other, and the new Horizon update reduced the difference between them even further. However, choosing one class over the other will give you certain competitive advantages on the battleground. Thus, in this article, we will rank the tier lists from the best to the worst.
What are the Best Classes to Choose from in Outriders?
While we cannot say that one class is particularly better than the other, each class does present some unique advantages over the other. The classes develop independently, thereby narrowing down the ways we can compare them. However, judging from the ease of using them early in the game to the number of ways in which they make the gameplay easy, we can arrive at a list. The best classes according to this list are Technomancher and Trickster. While the latter is better for co-op games and during the early stages in the game, Technomancer is the best solo mission in Outriders.
Check out the full list for more detailed information.
1. Trickster
Trickster is capable of handling a variety of playstyles. Thus, it makes for an easy recommendation. The class, however, is best suited for close-range combat. This makes the gameplay feel much easier because Outriders focuses on close-range combat almost all of the time. The class also has some unique skills like a temporal blade, Hunt the Prey, and Cyclone Slice.
2. Technomancer
Probably the best part about Technomancer builds is that it heals continuously as it deals damage to enemies. Unlike Trickster, it is designed for combat from a distance. Also, at a maxed-out DPS, builds from this class will easily devastate anything from other classes as long as you are playing solo.
3. Devastator
The Devastator mainly focuses on tank-sized builds. The class is suited for close-ranged combat, thereby giving players a unique advantage. It also comes with health regeneration perks and support for a lot of mods and skills. You can buff up a devastator build to a point where it becomes nearly invincible.
4. Pyromancer
Pyromancer is another class that focuses on combat from a distance. However, it probably is the hardest class to master. Its health regeneration technique is particularly hard to make use of, and thus we do not recommend players to use it in battles. Pyromancers can indeed cause blood baths on the battlefield, however, players with class die faster than the others.
These are the best classes to choose from in Outriders, None of these can be considered remarkably superior to the other and this list is purely based on ease of gameplay.
