With the upcoming 2.8 update “Summer Fantasia” we’re getting two Anemo characters in the first character banner- Kazuha and Heizou. Kazuha’s banner is a much-awaited rerun as since his release in Version 1.6 he’s gone on to become one of the most used characters in the Spiral Abyss and currently holds the position as one of the “meta” characters. Heizou on the other hand is a new 4-star anemo catalyst user from Inazuma who’s rumored to be an Anemo sub-DPS with his high scaling elemental skill. Their best artifact set for these characters is the Viridescent Venerer.
Why Viridescent Venerer?
The Viridescent Venerer can be farmed from the Valley of Remembrance. Its 2-set bonus gives 15% increased Anemo damage. And its 4-set bonus gives increased Swirl damage by 60% and reduces enemy resistance to the element infused in the Swirl by 40% for 10 seconds.
The Viridescent Venerer thus maximizes their Swirl damage and gives bonus Anemo damage to these characters. This way they all fulfill all roles- support, DPS, and sub-DPS at once. Players must of course focus on offensive main and substats like Atk%, Crit Rate%, and Crit Damage% for a DPS or sub-DPS build. The secondary stats to focus on for these roles would be Energy Recharge% and Elemental Mastery.
For support or sub-DPS build Elemental Mastery should be your main focus, followed by the Atk% stat. Crit bonus are also important but they come second in priority. With this artifact set, you get the highest functionality and damage and it’s flexible to build just like the nature of Anemo.
Kazuha is a versatile unit that can fill the role of a DPS, sub-DPS, and even support. Heizou on the other hand has the potential to be a strong 4-star Anemo DPS similar to Xiao or 4-star Anemo support. Both of these units benefit from Elemental Mastery and Anemo units have high value for their Swirl reactions to shred enemy resistances and chain elemental reactions. Since both are Anemo characters they both also have crowd control functionality.
