Battlefield 4 is the 13th installment of the popular Battlefield game series which is published by EA and developed by DICE. The first Battlefield game was launched in 2013 but still, this game has a very strong player base.
Recently, its new version Battlefield 4 is released and many players have experienced this incredible game which caused a load on the EA server.
And so, players have started reporting on Reddit and several other social media platforms that their game is not connecting on the Xbox specifically.

Before the launching of BF4, EA had confirmed that they are booting up several additional servers for this game, so that the servers can easily handle the rush of a large number of players. The community manager of the EA community said on the EA Answers page – “We’ve been monitoring your experience and notice queue times in the US West region were far longer than in other regions. Good news, we’ve increased server capacity for this region–you can expect less waiting, and more playing.”
However, the situation is the same and players are not able to enjoy the game due to servers related issues. Those players who could find the servers to play the game are stuck in a long queue and so they are not able to join empty servers.
Players are reporting that they are having servers related issues and getting error messages like – “Error code 1” or “Failed to join the game as its current state doesn’t allow for a connection”.
Also, those players who have rented BF4 servers on Xbox, getting the same servers down issues, and several fans have reported this issue on downdetector.com.
It seems that the DICE and EA have not yet acknowledged this problem. We hope the problem will get resolved soon and again players will start enjoying this incredible game.
