The first place you will find her is in Smoldering Church, north of Limgrave. You will find her as you approach the entrance to the Church. There are two other places you can meet her, once at Consecrated Snowfields, and at Corpse-Stench Shack at Mount Gelmir. Anastasia is quite slow in her attacks, so there are a few things you can do to bring down her health.
- She will be using a Greatsword that will make her slow. If she gets too close, run behind her and backstab her.
- Even though she is slow, she’s not clumsy, and will easily dodge your ranged attacks.
- She will try to get close to you at all times. If you fail to backstab her, use a short melee weapon to stab or strike her. Slash attacks won’t work on her.
- Once she starts her attack animation, you can hit her with ranged weapons or spells
- Keep a safe distance from her Greatsword at all times. A good shield will come in handy here to block her attacks
- Any weapon or spell that inflicts bleed status can be used here.
- While she jumps into the air, use this opportunity to roll behind her and backstab her.
- When she brings her Greatsword down with both hands like a chop, she will take time to recover, which gives you a window of opportunity to put in a couple of hits.
- After she is done brandishing her sword around, she will stop for a while to recover. Hit her during this time.
The first time you find and defeat her, she will drop one Furlcalling Finger Remedy and a Sacred Scorpion Charm. If you run into her subsequently, she will drop a Furlcalling Finger Remedy and a Butchering Knife.
