You might get hit with a debuff while trying to fight enemies, and certain debuffs will give you unwanted effects, like decreased attack and defense. You can also place a debuff on your enemy to bring down their stats, making it easier to defeat them. Certain Arts will carry debuffs, so you can check which Arts have which debuffs that you can use while in battle.

- Attack Down – Decreases Attack
- Physical Defense Down – Decreases Physical Defense
- Ether Defense Down – Decreases Ether Defense
- Resistance Down – Reduces Resistance to Debuffs
- Sleep – Makes the target immobile but can be awoken with a hit
- Moebius Shackles – Disables target movement
- Shackle Arts – Disables the use of Arts
- Shackle Healing – Disables healing
- Shackle Blocking – Disables Block
- Eclipse Soul – Turns allies against each other
- Bind – Makes targets immobile
- Target Lock – Locks enemy and targeting user together
- Damage Link – Displaces all damage taken on self to nearby allies
- Accuracy Down – Lowers Accuracy stat
- Evasion Down – Lowers Evasion stat
- Slow Recharger – Decreases the rate of recharge for Arts
- Shield Bind – Incapacitates Defenders
- Sword Bind – Incapacitates Attackers

- Reduce All – Reduces stats for Damage, Evasion, Accuracy, Evasion, and Defense
- Bleed – Gives Bleed status at fixed intervals
