All Creature Shapeshifting Forms and Abilities in V Rising
There are six forms in total that you can shapeshift into, but only 5 of them are creature forms. Here we will see all the creature forms and their abilities and uses in V Rising.
Using your animal form can help you use their abilities when needed, such as using the bat for flight or the wolf for faster travel. Below are all the creature types and what they can be used for in the game.

Wolf
After defeating the Alpha Wolf in the Wolf Den of Farbane Woods, you will be able to transform into the wolf. Being in wolf form will grant you 45% more travel speed, as well as give you attack immunity from other low-level wolves.
Rat
After summoning and defeating the Putrid Rat, you can take over the rat form. Using the rat, you can sneak past most enemies that you are trying to avoid. You can use the Rat’s size to escape into small spaces that would otherwise be impossible.
Bear
You can get the Bear form after defeating the Ferocious Bear in Farbane Wood’s Bear Cave. Having the Bear will give you a variety of perks, which include increased speed and resistance to damage by 25%, as well as reduced damage taken by 25%. You will also have a faster regeneration and will be immune to attacks from other bears. Using the bear form during gathering ore is helpful, as you can easily break down blockages and deposits without using explosives.
Toad
You will have to defeat the Duke of Palaton at the Swamp of Greed to get the Toad. You can find the swamp north of the Cursed Forest. You will acquire this form in the late game, so you don’t have to worry about getting it early on. You can use the Toad to jump to high-to-reach places and probably can get past enemies due to its tiny form. You can get past other players’ fences and into their base by hopping over them.
Bat
The Bat is the last form in line that you will acquire, and you will get it after defeating the Night Marshal in the Cursed Forest. The Night Marshal is a level 76 V Carrier boss, so this is something you will have to do late game. After getting the bat, you will be able to fly outdoors over any sort of terrain, but you won’t be able to carry anything in your inventory if you wish to use the bat form.
