How to Make Fabric
Fabric in Disney Dreamlight Valley was made of cotton, much as in real life. Cotton is one of the most difficult crafting materials to come by and is only available in limited quantities. Outside the game, it takes 5 pieces of cotton to produce 1 piece of cloth.
If you want to obtain some Cotton,
- You will first need to gather a large amount of Dreamlight.
- You can collect this resource in various ways, like completing daily tasks or conversing with residents.
- Once you have enough, it’ll be time for the next step – removing the thorns blocking passage towards the Sunlit Plateau. This will require 7000 Dreamlight.
Another way is to purchase the seeds from Goofy’s Stall, then plant them in any of the biomes where they will start growing. Once you buy the cotton seeds, opening Goofy’s Stall costs 3,000-star coins; but when you collect your cotton, it pays off because there is more Cotton per person involved with a gardener-type resident than one without.
Using this farming method, you’ll have to wait 25 minutes until the cotton grows. While waiting for it to grow, keep watering the plants every so often and ensure they’re kept alive; otherwise, when they grow, the process will take even longer. Once it is done growing, come back and harvest it for what it’s worth- converting them into the fabric for later use at any crafting stations you may find.
